Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways when they host fierce rivals Liverpool in their rescheduled Premier League fixture on Thursday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are still in the driving seat for a second-place finish in the top-flight this season even after their defeat to Leicester guaranteed Man City top spot.

United have lost just one of their last 15 home games against Liverpool in all competitions (W10 D4), and are unbeaten in their last eight since a 0-3 loss in March 2014.

In terms of early team news Harry Maguire remains sidelined through injury while Anthony Martial remains a doubt as he returns from a lengthy lay-off.

This is how MEN writers think United should line up.

Having made ten changes on Tuesday night we could see the same amount on Thursday night as Solskjaer looks to use his hefty squad depth for another fierce encounter.

Henderson should return in goal, while Bailly will likely be the only survivor in defence due to the fact there are not many other centre-backs available for selection.

In midfield Fred and McTominay will be reunited, as they usually are for games of this magnitude. Matic was one of the few senior players to emerge with credit against Leicester but he’s got a job on to force his way into the team.

Further forward Greenwood will step down having started the last three games. That will mean Rashford on the right, Pogba on the left, with Fernandes behind the in-form Cavani.
