Real Madrid are ready to sell Manchester United-linked centre-back Rafael Varane for €50 million (£43m/$61m) – according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Blancos may be forced to cash in on the 28-year-old before he becomes a free agent in 2022 as he continues to stall on extension negotiations.
United are poised to swoop in, with it reported that Varane is set to be offered a €12m-per-year deal at Old Trafford.

RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer wants to leave the Bundesliga club and could be available for €17.5 million (£15m/$21m), according to The Athletic.
Sabitzer has been linked with Tottenham and other Premier League clubs in the past, however a €50m release clause prevented him leaving Leipzig.
However, the Austrian international is now into the final year of his contract and reportedly has no desire to renew – which could lead Leipzig to cash in this summer.
Crystal Palace ‘end talks’ with Nuno over manager’s job
Nuno Espirito Santo will not be the next Crystal Palace manager after the club refused to meet his demands, claim the Daily Mail.
It is reported Palace did not want to acquiesce to the terms Nuno was demanding, with Wolves’ underwhelming finish in the Premier League last season also a factor.
Nuno departed Wolves at the end of the 2020-21 season after four years in charge.
Arsenal near Xhaka and Bellerin sales

Xhaka is closing in on a move to Roma while Bellerin is reportedly being pursued by PSG and Villarreal, among others.
