Mason Greenwood has welcomed Jadon Sancho’s imminent arrival at Manchester United by opening up about the ‘competition’ he anticipates between him and the new signing.

Greenwood looked in good spirits as he spoke to United’s in-house media, and is looking forward to playing with Sancho, who is on the verge of joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £72.9 million (€85m).
“It’s got to be my biggest season yet,” Greenwood told United Daily during preseason training.
“Obviously we brought a new player in and it’s good to have some good competition in the team. Obviously he’s a fantastic player and we’ve got to push more.”
The 19-year-old forward featured heavily for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side last season, providing 17 goal involvements in 52 appearances in all competitions during the 2020/21 campaign, and he’ll be hoping to have a bigger impact next season.
